Cours Molière is an international bilingual school located in Paris, offering French-English education from preschool through to high school. In a multicultural environment, with children and teachers from across the globe, students can simultaneously work towards the French Baccalauréat and the US High School Diploma – opening access to universities in France, Europe, the United States, and throughout the world.
From preschool onwards, children benefit from intensive immersion in English, which can also be combined with an introduction to Mandarin.
The school places special emphasis on the personal development of each student. Small class sizes encourage individualized support and trusting relationships between teachers and students. The academic rigor of the French system is complemented by teaching approaches inspired by the English-speaking world, as well as an internationally-minded outlook that prepares students for a wide variety of academic paths and careers.
Mission & Values
Founded in 1926, Cours Molière embodies an open and ever-evolving vision of language learning. From preschool, the school welcomes students with varied linguistic experiences and abilities. As the teachers often say:
“You don’t need to be bilingual — you only need the desire to become bilingual.”
Encouragement and kindness come naturally in the intimate environment of small class sizes. This climate of constant support gives each child the confidence to express themselves comfortably in both French and English, and to grow into responsible, curious, and open-minded individuals. The joy of learning, creativity, and personal expression are cultivated from an early age, while a balance between well-being and academic rigor is carefully upheld. Developing independence is a central pillar of this approach.
The guidance provided by Cours Molière is also central to the university orientation process. Each high school student receives personalized support for their higher-education plans, whether in France or abroad. While many students go on to prestigious programs in France, the UK, and the USA, the priority remains to help each individual discover and develop their own potential.
Relocating? Or returning after a move abroad?

The DNA of Cours Molière is fundamentally international. Each year, at least 40% of the school’s students are either international or returning to the French system after living abroad. With 35 nationalities represented, Cours Molière is among the most internationally open and diverse schools in Paris. As global citizens, students integrate quickly thanks to the
supportive environment that characterizes its small classes. Everyone quickly finds their place within a welcoming and globally-minded community.
In this positive atmosphere, each student feels motivated to engage and partake in their educational journey. The school’s bilingual curriculum serves as a valuable passport: students from Cours Molière know they will be recognized not only for their academic level but also for their adaptability. Encouraged and supported, Cours Molière students grow with confidence to become leaders of tomorrow.
Our Two Campuses
The Soult Campus, which is home to the preschool and primary school, is located close to the Bois de Vincennes – a large, green space in eastern Paris.
The Montmorency Campus, dedicated to secondary education, is situated in the Marais district in the heart of the capital.
At each campus, teaching is part of a rich and dynamic learning environment that includes experiences beyond the classroom. These opportunities allow students to develop their linguistic and cultural skills in real and stimulating contexts.
