Middle School

Learn, flourish, succeed.

An international campus

At Cours Molière, we want our Middle School students to enjoy their studies, to express themselves in French and English, and we encourage our students to improve in both languages, regardless of their current ability. Our Middle School students develop a curiosity about the world around them, their subjects and the diverse experiences of their peers. They develop the confidence to express their opinions and an increasing ability to justify them, while developing greater autonomy in terms of organisation.

Preparation for the Evaluating Learning

As part of the French national curriculum, Cours Molière students sit an official examination called the Brevet at the end of Middle School. Sat by students around France, this examination validates and verifies students ’learning. Cours Molière has a 100% success rate on these examinations, including for non-French-speaking students. Anglophone students also have the option to take a Cambridge iGCSE class and can sit an external examination to certify their learning.

Individualized monitoring to ensure the development of the full potential of each student.

A Proven Method

  1. Meeting—and exceeding—official standards
Our teaching strictly follows the French National Education curriculum. But we don’t stop there. We go beyond by offering enriching content and innovative methods to stimulate students’ curiosity and critical thinking.

  2. Personalized support for every student
Because each student is unique, we provide individualized guidance with a quarterly report, allowing students and parents to track progress and access tailored solutions.

  3. For non-French-speaking students,
French as a Foreign Language (FLE) classes are offered by experienced teachers. This specialized support helps them integrate quickly and succeed in their studies under optimal conditions.

Bilingualism Beyond the Classroom

Key to Cours Molière’s pedagogical approach to language learning is offering students a variety of contexts and environments in which they can use French and English. To build robust, life-long skills that open opportunities after school, it is important that students can practise and develop their confidence within a supportive and engaging environment. Using English or French outside the classroom, with peers for example, is a real test of language acquisition. At Cours Molière, the “Cultures and Languages” Middle School programme offers students an opportunity to develop their language skills in a non-traditional and informal learning environment
